^_^ Thanks. I'm a graphic design major in school and while I get so pissed off at GIMP sometimes, I can't afford Photoshop at the moment. Being able to get a 5 from you while using GIMP feels like an accomplishment.

I do have a few tips for you, for gimp though.
Change color saturation etc to match the background image.

Thanks for trying to offer a tip, but I do mess around with color and saturation. Like I said, I'm a junior in college majoring in design. I've been working with image manipulation software (Photoshop, Illustrator, GIMP...) for 5 years. I certainly don't claim to know everything, but I'm not new at this.

Also, some of those banners (Poison Ivy one for example) are more like a collage in which case you really don't want to change the saturation or color because that's not the intent of the banner.
