Posting Points, what are they?
Posting Points is a brand new system I've implemented which gives you, as the user, certain benefits (and prizes) for being loyal and active.
How does it work?
Every time you make a post, you get 3 posting points. Depending on your amount of posting points, you can get a benefit. These benefits include, but are not limited to:
1) An awesome "fan pack" for your character at 300 post points.
2) The ability to edit your character profile, to develop them furthermore (this includes power/species changing1) at 900 post points.
3) Your own sub-board for whatever you wish, wherever you wish2 at 600 post points.
And much, much more.
1Power and Species change (and FC change), as well as requiring 900 post points, requires a thread in order to implement the changes (One of the staff will be happy to thread with you in order to implement the change, if you wish).
2You cannot make a sub board in the General or Out Of Character boards. In the Character Extras board, you are limited to what you can have.
How do I get post points?
As said before, you can get 3 post points for every post you make. However, you can get post points from other things, too!
These other things include, but are not limited to:
1) Winning an award for "___ of the month" - 150 post points per award.
2) Winning a competition - Amount you win varies, depending on competition.
3) Getting a suggestion accepted - 50 post points.
And much, much more.
Will I get post points wherever I post?
Currently, yes. But that doesn't mean you can spam like fuck to get more and more post points, because if that happens you WILL receive a warning and certain boards will have post points disabled.
