Hundreds of years after the events of heroes. The company has been forced to shut down. All the canons have faded. All is well. At least, that was what it was like. The world now knows of people with abilities, many civilians think it's awe-inspiring but at the same time, many find it outrageous. Fights, battles, wars. Every violent action has been taken against these specials, every violent action has failed. Many have died, many have become injured. A new institution recently opened to 'aid' specials - to teach them how to control their abilities. The headmaster, however, wants to use them as a weapon.

Meanwhile, specials are disappearing from all over the world, only to return - dead, bloodied. Who is doing it? Some mysterious killer.
