WHAT IS THE LABYRINTH?!The Labyrinth lies below the Underworld and it is a gateway to Oblivion, the unending void that lies outside of creation, and all sorts of nasty entities lurk its ever changing passages. Within its halls lie slumbering primordial entities of chaos, entropy, and destruction. The Wyrm and the Neverborn, and at its center lies the well of eternity and Grandmother. Like everything in the Labyrinth, time is not stable. TIME IS NOT STABLE?!In different areas of the Labyrinth time moves at different speeds, its proximity to the edge of creation and connection to Oblivion means the normal rules of existence bends, though never breaks. Time always goes forward, never back. These areas are forever changing, as it is the nature of the Labyrinth. Beings that spend enough time in the Labyrinth can feel these changes and general tend to avoid them. WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE?!The Labyrinth is an incoherent maze, infinite in size, composed of the aggregate detritus of the living world - it is not an ordered maze, but instead the absence of order. One corridor in the labyrinth can be a childhood hospital, the next an inverted volcanic tunnel where gravity operates in reverse. The only permanant landmarks are damnation's stairs, which lead into the underworld proper and the Well of Eternity at its center. Well done to Lyssia Grey for getting her suggestion approved of! We hope you all enjoy this new subboard!
I will be working on images for this in the next week or so!
