The Demon in the Park (Mike Halliwell)

[Constantine Gray]

Constantine sighed while he leaned back on the bench that he sat on, with his hands on the back of his head as he looked over to the right at a couple holding hands strolling towards one of the benches. He turned his head away to watch another couple with their adorable baby daughter.

Suddenly the witch sat up as a man wearing dark clothes walked towards the family. The demon formed an energy ball and threw it towards the family. With a flick of Constantine's hand as he rose it up in the nick of time, the energy ball diverted and went towards the demon who ducked. Constantine walked towards the demon, while the frightened family watched.

"Are you guys alright?" Constantine asked the parents who nodded. "Good go somewhere safe okay?" The parents nodded while the mother scooped up the baby and ran to the left. The demon watched them doing so then turned towards him.
"You stupid witch! Look what you did!"
"Aw did I ruin your fun? Gee sorry," he said sarcastically to the demon. The demon growled. "Oooo I'm so scared. You're growling! I'm shivering." The demon, getting riled up, charged towards Constantine who formed an energy ball of his own and threw it towards the demon. The demon's eyes widened. He wondered how the heck its possible that he'd have energy balls? Well he does. The demon dodged them and then stood back to his feet then formed another.

This time Constantine levitated then formed another two energy balls of his own and threw them towards the demon. One struck the demon's shoulder the other struck one of his legs. Constantine lowered to the ground but didn't stop there. He swung his arm having the demon fly back and crash right into a nearby tree then fall straight to the ground. To finish him off, Constantine whipped out a potion he made and threw it, then flicked his wrist having the telekinesis help the potion strike the demon who burst into flames. Constantine sighed. Why were they now suddenly appearing in the daylight?

It was a boring but stressful day for Mike Halliwell, he had been going through the book of shadows, looking for answers to question that he has had for a long time, sometimes he liked to go through the book just to learn as much as he could about magic and see the entries his past ancestors had made since the dark ages when the book was first created. Then Mike came across what looked like a letter written on the book. He could tell the page was old because of how it seemed worn out and where it was written in the book.

Mike smiled when he read the message in the book, it was from his grandfather to Mike's father Chris and his uncle Wyatt. It almost seemed like his grandfather didn't think he'd be around for when Mike's father and uncle were growing up. Melinda wasn't ever mentioned, so it could have been before Mike's aunt Melinda was even born. Mike closed the book and put it back on the stand. He just needed some air, so he orbed away.

Mike orbed right to Golden Gate Park, it was nice and relaxing there, and Mike orbed behind a tree where nobody could see him. He peeked around and walked around until he heard the crash of an energy ball. Mike gasped and ran over to see what appeared to be a with levitating in the sky and throwing energy balls. It could have been a witch, or even a demon, but why would one demon fight another? After the demon was gone Mike stepped out over to him, he was quite the looker as well. "I've never seen a witch with that set of powers." Mike said as he crossed his arms and smirked. Hopefully he was friendly.

Fucking demon, Constantine thought to himself. God why is these demons so stupid? He sighed once more and before he could walk off, Constantine turned away from the spot where the demon once stood, to a handsome blue eyed boy. He spoke to him and instantly he chuckled. "Yeah you know what, I was shocked that I would have these kind of powers too. I only use them if a demon attacks." Speaking of those that the demon was attacking, he still hopes the people the demon was aiming for was okay. "I had saved a family from that demon who was going to attack them had I not stepped in. I'm Constantine. And you are? And how'd you guess I was a witch? Don't answer that, glad you had guessed it so I wouldn't explain it." He was surprisgingly very friendly today though he hopes the guy won't think he's evil or anything. He got that alot. Constantine approached him a little then leaned against one of the trees.

No hellos were exchanged when Mike approached the rather hansom and probably much older witch. There was no doubt that a witch that had energy balls must have came from a very unique family, perhaps another powerful family. If that was the case then The Halliwell line must have encountered them before, being one of the most famous magical families in history. "I have some pretty unique powers myself." Mike said as he approached but quickly orbed away and behind the tree Constantine was leaning on and then popped around him to take him by surprise. "Well, maybe not unique in my family, but still pretty cool if you ask me." Mike said with a charming smirk.

He then explained how he was glad Mike figured it out for himself without having to go into detail about the extent of his powers and how they got them, as if they were gained not by birth or something, but after seeing him save that family Mike knew this guy must be good by the actions he took and the look in his gazing eyes. "My name is Mike, it's very nice to meet you, Constantine, don't see many witches fighting the good fight out in public anymore, you must really care about innocents." Mike said with his charming smile again, not something he did on purpose but something that happened when he smiled t somebody he was attracted too... usually.

Before Constantine was to reply, Mike did something he never thought the other boy would have done. That is, he orbed out just as he had approached Constantine and appeared right smack behind the tree he was leaning against with. This had him gasp and jump back. Maybe it was out of a surprise however. "Yeah I can see that, wow and I thought my powers were unique. So is that all your powers or do you have more than just orbing?" he asked, out of curiousity and smiled back. "Pretty fucking cool. Excuse my french." He had to lend out a chuckle after that too. "Nice to meet you too Mike. Yeah I do actually. I always did. I guess it was from me growing up and having realized you gotta do something than of just sit around. My brother feels the same way."

Mike smirked after hearing Constantine asking him if Mike had other powers but orbing, or if that was it. Mike shook his head slowly. Mike looked up at the sky and his eyes turned a snow white as he looked behind him with a smirk and smiled at Constantine as he raised his arms and a huge gust of wind started to blow from behind him. Mike finally put his arms down before one of them lost their balance and it all stopped. "I can control the weather. Oh, and I can heal people too." Mike explained with his charming and innocent smile.

After listening to Constantine explain that he liked helping people after growing up and realizing he had to do something else than sit around. Mike smikred, especially when he said that his brother felt the same way. "Well, you would definitely get along with my family, there all about helping innocents. Been that was since the Charmed ones were born, and that was a long time ago." Mike explained with a silent snicker. He coulnd't help but feel comfortable talking to this stranger, maybe it was becasue he was so taken in.

Constantine's mouth dropped in surprise way though, as Mike had managed to control the weather, like how Storm could in Xmen. He had remembered reading those comics and he never imagined someone could control the weather now. "Wow man dude those fucking are better than mine," he had to say it cause it was true. "Healing? Awesome so you're half whitelighter? That's remarkable, really." He was telling the truth. And when the man flashed a charming and innocent smile, he flashed one as well though it was mostly charming than of innocent. "I think those are remarkable. Though okay you would probably say mine is too but both of ours are."

Constantine chuckled. "I am sure I would get along with your family definately. That sounds like it had been continuing throughout the years then!" He turned towards the bench and gestured to it with his hand. "Would you like to sit with me?" he asked. "I need to rest after well you seen what happened. I'd like you to join me. If that's alright." Hey why not? The kid seemed someone he could sit down and talk with. To show his point, he walked over to the bench and sat down then pat a spot beside him for Mike to take.

Constantine seemed really intrigued by Mike's whitelighter powers, but he practically grew up with them, and grew up with a family with similar powers Most Halliwell witches did have whitelighter in them. "It's actually quite common in my family, a lot of us have whitelighter in our blood, so I don't find it that unique." Mike explained rubbing the back of his head with a sheepish grin. "But, not many of us have energy balls or levitation." He then added, wrapping his hands together behind his back.

He then explained to Mike that he probably would get along with his family, and it sounded like they had been at the innocent saving business for a long time, this was true. It has been two generations since the Charmed ones, and here was Mike, a proud Halliwell witch. He was just hoping since their was so many Halliwell's that Mike could make a name for himself. Constantine then asked if Mike would sit with him and went over to a bench. Mike smirked, nodding over at him as he went to sit next to him, he really was very good looking. "Wow.." Mike said, focusing on his eyes, they were so memorizing.

"Oh really? Nah, mine isn't that great. I mean hell it took me a long time to get the levitation part right. I remember once I spun around in three to four circles, totally freaking out cause I couldn't get down. My brother had to pull me down instantly and I was only I believe 10 when that happened. Boy I was scared. As much as the energy balls one. I'm thankful I didn't hurt anyone with that but the telekinesis was the one that was easy to work with, however, I didn't use it a lot after I watched Carrie with my brother and my parents. I am used to all three now." When Mike sat down next to him and said "wow", Constantine tilted his head to the left, wondering what he meant by that, and gave him a smile. "Is there something on my face?" he asked, replying to that comment while still flashing the charming smile.

Constantine talked about how he came to term with his powers, that he could levitate since he was ten, and how he had troubles with it. Mike remembered himself when he first got all his powers. "I was four when I first orbed, I hid all over the place and my parents had to keep finding me. As for the weather, that happened when I was nine, and it kinda came through my mood. When I cried, it rained and when i was mad, lighting filled the sky." Mike explained. Even till this day, and for mostly every witch out there, his powers followed his emotions.

After Mike wowed Constantine's eyes, he looked rather confused, and asked if there was something on his face. Mike looked away suddenly "Oh, no, it's not that. It's just... you have really.. nice eyes." Mike said, then bit his lip, he must have sounded so stupid, and seeing as though this was a guy, he was probably going to get beaten up or something. Hopefully what he said wasn't crossing the line or something, but he was younger so maybe he won't get hurt. "Sorry if I'm crossing the line." He said looking down at his feet.

"Wow I never knew that," Constantine answered. "Okay actually the raining part I thought it was from just Men in Black II but never thought you know. I would have freaked out if that had happened to me to be honest. I think its rather cool you know? All I know is if I had that kind of powers no one would dare to make fun of me. Just saying. If I had the orbing one it would've came in handy for when I missed school and shit like that. Excuse my language. Boy I would've had a field day back then. But I like the powers I have also. Its not that bad."

Constantine chuckled lightly. "Why thank you, you have really nice eyes too." Its a good thing he is bisexual otherwise he would've been very freaked out by it but he got used to it. A lot of people told him he has nice eyes though he doesn't see how. Now his brother, HE has nice eyes. "I don't think they're that nice but thanks for the compilment." When he spoke about crossing the line, Constantine shook his head. "No you weren't crossing the line." He leaned in and gave him a kiss on his lips, a slight passionate one, however. He pulled away. "Now that would be crossing the line," he said afterwards. Okay he doesn't know why he did it but oh well.

Mike listened to Constantine talk, watching him, he was really a nice guy, which Mike doesn't see very often with older and quite hot guys like him. Mike tried his best to pay attention but every time Constantine looked over at Mike, it was like getting lost in his eyes. Never had Mike talked to a guy so gorgeous, it was almost overwhelming, and even better he was a witch. Mike could actually be himself for once. "Yeah, well, we all have different powers. Some witches can control the weather, some levitate, some read mind. Hybrids on the other hand, their powers are much more unique, like how most of my family is." Mike explained with a smirk.

Mike looked over as Constantine was looking leaning in, he could only wonder what he was doing, but Mike kept his eyes wide as he leaned in and finally kissed Mike, right on the lips. Mike kissed him back for that moment. It felt good, he was very off his guard, but it was nice, it felt good, and it even felt right. He pulled away, saying that would be crossing the line. Mike stayed silent for a minute, not knowing what to say with a vacant expression until he finally snapped out of it, blinking and he cleared his throat. "Th-thanks. That was r-really sweet... of you." Mike said and then he took in a swallow and looked over at him again with an innocent grin.

"Oh I see, that's cool how some can have powers like that. I mean yes I know different type of witches have different powers but it is unique to see a witch hybrid with whitelighter powers AND the kind you have. That's pretty cool." When he had kissed Mike, Mike kissed him back and cleared his throat since he was caught off guard. Hey Constantine was showing him an example of someone crossing the line. He should be glad Con wasn't the type to shove the poor boy down and rape him that would've been definately crossing the line. Constantine grinned while shrugging his shoulders. "No biggie I mean hell at least its not like some people would do," he pointed out, "like raping and shit. You know? I heard about this one guy who did that after he kissed this other guy it was on the news two weeks ago. Anyway the guy who kissed the other man was gay while the other man wasn't. Soon after he went on and raped the straight man. You didn't hear that? Apparently the guy shot the straight man after he couldn't stop yelling. If you tell me that's so crossing the line. I wish I was in Boulder Colerado when that happened I would've beaten his ass to a pulp. No one deserves that. Man, child, or woman."

Mike listened to Constantin talk again, explaining that he had pretty cool and unique powers. Mike sighed "Yeah, well when your a Halliwell, you kinda get used to it." He said with a smirk. Growing up to live up to the Halliwell name wasn't always easy, after all they used to be the charmed ones only two generations ago. The whole Halliwell line seemed to be hybrid witches or whatever, all except Mike's aunt Melinda and her kids, they were full out witches, all three. "How about you, is your family pure bred?" He asked with a smirk.

Constantine then started to explain that coming on to strong would have been like being forcefully raped, despite the awkward situation as he was talking about, he had a good point. Mike listened with a bit of disturbance as he explained what happened between the two men. "Wow, that's, uhm, something." He said as she scratched the back of his head. "But, thanks though, your a pretty good kisser... do you kiss random guys often or was this just a special occasion?" Mike said with a sheepish grin and tried his hardest not to blush.

"Yeah I can see where you're getting from. Yeah technically but then not really. Like my father and his family were witches and my mother she didn't become a witch until she married my father. See it was my father that had powers while my mother only could do spells and potions. She doesn't have any. You can say we my brother and I, inheirited from our father's side. My sister-in-law is a witch too."

The truth was, Constantine was disturbed by that news in the first place and he shuddered just thinking about it. Sure it wasn't something that should be said totally but he wanted to say it so he could let Mike know it was a good thing it didn't come to that. "Yeah you know what? I felt the same way. I'm still rather disturbed by seeing it on the news so I'm sorry to just fucking say it out loud like that. It was an example really, a bad one to be exact." Constantine laughed. "Nah I don't go and kiss random guys and no not really. Just an example. But thank you you're a good kisser too. Have you ever been kissed by a guy before?"
